A.J. Muste Memorial Institute Counter Recruitment Fund Update March 2016: This fund is currently inactive; we are now supporting counter-recruitment projects through our Social Justice Fund. Active from 2006 to 2010, the Muste Institute's Counter Recruitment Fund made 12 to 30 grants annually of up to $1,500 to support grassroots efforts in the United States to inform young people about the realities of war and military service and alternative non-military work and study options. Grant recommendations were made by a committee of counter-recruitment activists. |
