As we know, each and every group supported by the Muste Institute makes a profound impact on the struggle for peace and justice. This year the Institute is doubling its grant ceiling, expanding our international work, and increasing our efforts to engage new and emerging social justice organizations. With your support we are poised to make the most of this moment. With new grants to the Black Movement Law Project, Laundry Workers Center, Organize! Ohio, to Women Make Movies, we are mobilizing. It’s not easy to look around and see the proliferation of political challenges we face. However, this is hardly the first time in our history, and it won’t be the last, that we fight the seemingly insurmountable—to demand the It was bittersweet but also energizing to make the recent move out of our historic offices on Lafayette Street and into our new space.
